Tikanna Quality Management System: Bestowing Reliable Artistic Life upon Every Light

At Tikanna, quality is not final inspection; it is a rigorous philosophy integrated into the entire birth process of a product. We have established a Four-Tier Quality Defense System that transforms quality control from reactive "problem finding" to proactive "problem prevention." This ensures every decorative light is not only an aesthetic artwork but also a reliable product built to endure.

Tier 1: Preventive Controls – Beginning at the Source

Risk is mitigated before the first component enters production.
Design & Documentation QC: All production is based on final written approval of 2D technical drawings or the “Golden Sample” from the client. Any changes require a formal Engineering Change Notice (ECN).
Supply Chain & Incoming Material Control:
Supplier Management: We partner with audited, specialized suppliers for glass, crystal, stone, and electrical components.
100% Incoming Inspection: All externally purchased materials must be inspected before warehousing. Using a “physical item vs. drawing/sample comparison” method with tools like calipers, we check dimensional tolerances, material, color, clarity, and surface defects. Non-conforming items are isolated and returned.

Tier 2: In-Process Controls – Precision at Every Stage

Checkpoints at critical production nodes ensure flaws are intercepted before flowing to the next step.
Metal Processing Inspection:
Initial Structural Check: After bending or casting, verify basic dimensions and shape against drawings.
Welding & Grinding Spot Checks: Perform visual and tactile checks for weld strength, ensuring no cold welds or missing welds. Post-grinding, inspect surfaces to ensure smooth weld transitions without pits or protrusions.
Trial Fit-Up Check (White Sample Stage): This is the critical Design for Manufacturability (DFM) verification. Pre-assemble all untreated metal parts with external components, focusing on:
1.Can all parts be assembled smoothly without interference?
2.Does the structural design affect the uniformity of subsequent painting or plating?
3.Does the overall proportion, balance, and spatial relationship meet design expectations?
Surface Treatment Inspection: After painting or plating, check coating for color uniformity, adhesion, smoothness, and absence of defects like sags, particles, or peeling.

Tier 3: Verification Controls – Proven Through Comprehensive Testing

Upon full assembly, every product must pass 100% of a series of functional and safety tests—this is the non-negotiable baseline.
Electrical Safety Tests:
High-Voltage (Hi-Pot) Test: Apply high voltage (e.g., AC1500V) between live parts and the housing for several seconds to ensure no insulation breakdown or arcing occurs.
Earth Continuity Test: For Class I fixtures, measure resistance between the earth terminal and all accessible metal parts to ensure ≤0.5Ω for user safety.
Insulation Resistance Test: Verify the effectiveness of insulating materials.
Function & Performance Tests:
Aging Test: Operate the light under simulated working conditions for several hours to stabilize photometric parameters and screen for early-life failures.
Functional Operation Test: Verify all control functions—switching, dimming (if applicable), remote control—operate normally, responsively, and consistently.
Mechanical & Balance Test: Check if the fixture hangs level, if moving parts operate smoothly, if all screws are tight, and if crystal drops are securely and evenly installed.

Tier 4: Final Audit & Delivery Control – Perfect upon Exit

A final systematic review before packaging ensures complete delivery.
Final Visual Inspection: Under good lighting, inspect the product surface for scratches, stains, assembly flaws, or any defects affecting aesthetics.
Pre-Packaging Verification: Cross-check all accessories item-by-item against the packing list, including mounting screws, spare parts, remotes, manuals, etc., to ensure nothing is missing or incorrect.
Packaging Quality Check: Confirm that inner foam is custom-cut and securely holds the product, that the outer carton is sturdy, and that markings (Fragile, This Way Up, product info) are clear and correct. For air shipments, inspect the reinforced wooden crate or plywood structure.
